Sunflower Child Development and Discovery Center is proud to share exciting news from our community — the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its 2025 Business Awards, and Sunflower was selected for the Excellence in Design and Construction Award! 🌻

This recognition means so much to us because our building is more than just a space — it’s a reflection of what we believe children deserve: an environment that inspires curiosity, nurtures creativity, and feels like a second home. Every corner of Sunflower was thoughtfully designed with learning and discovery in mind, from bright classrooms that invite exploration to outdoor spaces that encourage play and connection with nature. Receiving this award from the Chamber highlights not only the care and craftsmanship that went into the project, but also the community partnerships that made it possible.
